Yet 71% of employees worldwide are not actively engaged at work. During our 8-week weight loss challenge at work, we have seen engagement levels skyrocket. Looking at other companies, we observed employees self-organize similar challenges around personal interests. People are not managers, engineers, designers or copywriters. They are readers, runners, climbers or artists that are looking for ways to express themselves at work. And so, personal connections are built and teams thrive. So, we decided to leverage this insight and support companies in growing their engagement levels, every day. And so EngageApp was built. EngageApp comes with predefined challenges that employees can join immediately. However, they can also create their own challenges and be as creative as they can.
Our product is a mobile app with a simple and intuitive design that aims to offer a fun and captivating experience through challenges, tapping into the belonging and competition needs & habits of people. To achieve this, we will leverage best in class UI & UX design fuelled by insights from user psychology, social networking and gamification. We will use smart ways to connect to various API’s and wearables to make it as simple and accurate as possible for our users to track progress in their challenges. To be relevant and value adding to the market we address (HR & management) we will offer a insightful platform for them to track user engagement and adoption in the organization using advanced analytics and reporting.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Value Proposition” tab_id=”1525773170066-79166d62-d93c”][vc_column_text]According to research, 71% of employees worldwide are not actively engaged at work. This costs US alone $11 billion per year due to employer turnover. Disengaged employees cost U.S. companies $450-550 billion per year in lost productivity. Furthermore, low engagement organizations realize 3 times lower operating income than companies with strong employee engagement. Healthy and fun competition around personal interest at work can bring people together and foster engagement. There are a number of companies that leverage this insight but tend to focus on one area of interest (such as fitness trackers or learning games) and do not excel at keeping their users ‘addicted’ to challenges. EngageApp reunites challenges from multiple areas of interest such as fitness, social or learning that are aligned to company objectives and leverages the best of technology to offer a fun, gamified experience. It caters to the needs of both employees and HR, offering smart analytics to track progress in the first case and measure engagement levels in the latter.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Team” tab_id=”1525773277162-34210d8d-21da”][vc_column_text]We have a highly motivated team with the necessary background and experience to bring this product to market, starting from strategy, marketing and sales to product design and development.
